Hospital information system in India
We invite care teams in India to review HIS software, with ABDM and NHCX needs assessed before we agree a proposed rollout for each site.
What your teams can run in India
Each product is selected and scoped on its own. These are the modules most relevant to India, with how each one is bought.
NextHealth Care
Keep registration, clinical notes, prescriptions and billing on one patient record, with plans for outpatient clinics and hospitals.

HIS and HMIS software for private providers in India
A private hospital needs the consultation, diagnostic result and bill to describe the same episode of care. A clinic group needs a consistent record when a patient returns to another branch. For both, choosing a hospital information management system means examining everyday work alongside the national digital-health environment.
NextHealth invites Indian hospitals and clinics to review Care clinical workflows, Engage patient relationships and Flow operational evidence. Start with the problem your team needs to solve, then assess the national programme and payer dependencies.
Local programmes and regulatory context
ABDM and its ABHA identity and consent-based exchange context are distinct from NHCX health insurance transactions. The NRCeS implementation guide defines specific FHIR profiles; general FHIR capability is only a starting point for evaluating them.
Care’s structured records, code lookup and claims functionality do not establish ABDM milestone completion, ABHA services or live NHCX exchange. Those require demonstrated implementation and onboarding evidence. India’s DPDP framework also belongs in the project review, with commencement and applicable duties checked for the proposed processing.
How NextHealth fits
Care can be demonstrated through an outpatient visit, laboratory result and billing record. Engage supports booking, packages and patient relationships where these are the priority. Flow holds policy approvals, credentials, incidents and audit evidence for a facility’s NABH preparation; accreditation remains the facility’s assessment outcome.
For a hospital group, NXH One provides shared records across the selected products. It does not establish that every branch, payer or national service is already configured.
Care Clinics supports outpatient records and billing. Clinics Pro adds laboratory, radiology and claims; Hospitals adds inpatient and nursing workflows. Emergency and theatre remain under completion. Flow Quality indicators is also unfinished, so these capabilities must be reviewed separately before a rollout depends on them.
NextHealth Technologies is the software division of Alpha Health Group, a healthcare operator based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Experience running facilities and consulting on accreditation informs the product’s attention to clinical records, staff responsibilities and reviewable evidence.
Plan the country scope
Bring a representative cashless claim and a clinical encounter. Agree ABDM and NHCX scope, coding content, migration, language and hosting before selecting the rollout. The current product interface is English; additional Indian-language interfaces and local deployments are not claimed.
Bring three things to your India demo
A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.
Book a demo-
A patient encounter
One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.
-
A payer or payment workflow
The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.
-
An evidence question
One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.
Common questions
-
ABDM certification, milestone completion and ABHA services are not confirmed in the product evidence. Review the actual implementation and onboarding results before relying on any national identity or exchange workflow.
-
Live NHCX submission is not confirmed. Care has claims records and general exchange capability, but the required profiles, transactions, participant onboarding and successful testing need separate evidence.
-
Flow provides selected policy, credential, incident and audit records for your facility to review. Those records support preparation; they do not confer accreditation or establish complete coverage of a NABH programme.
-
Start with Care Clinics for outpatient records and billing, Clinics Pro for diagnostics and claims, or Hospitals for inpatient and nursing workflows. Review unfinished emergency and theatre functions separately before planning dependent services.
-
Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.
