HIS and governance software for private providers in Egypt

A private hospital considering a new payer relationship needs more than a billing screen. It must be able to explain the care delivered, the services recorded and the evidence behind its operating procedures. Quality and finance teams need records they can review together without confusing a complete document folder with an approved facility.

NextHealth invites Egyptian hospitals and clinics to examine Care clinical workflows and Flow operational evidence, with Engage available for patient relationships where that is the immediate need.

Local programmes and regulatory context

Egypt’s Universal Health Insurance Authority publishes contracting procedures that refer to registration or accreditation with GAHAR. The applicable route and current conditions must be checked for the provider and service. A software purchase does not grant eligibility to contract with UHIA.

GAHAR maintains healthcare accreditation programmes, while the Personal Data Protection Center oversees the framework under Law 151/2020. Assess the relevant data-processing permissions, contracts and responsibilities before implementation. No automatic UHIA submission, GAHAR approval or privacy licence is claimed for NextHealth.

How NextHealth fits

Care provides a clinical and billing record for examining a representative episode. Local coding, tariff and payer output requirements should be demonstrated separately before they are included in the agreed scope.

Flow holds policy approvals, credentials, incidents, complaints and risk actions that your team can review against its chosen requirements. GAHAR remains a context-only entry in the standards catalogue because a verified product mapping is not available. Generic evidence is useful for internal preparation without being presented as a complete accreditation workflow. Engage supports booking, packages and patient relationships for private outpatient services.

Care Clinics supports outpatient records and billing. Clinics Pro adds laboratory, radiology and claims; Hospitals adds inpatient and nursing workflows. Emergency and theatre remain under completion. Flow Quality indicators is also unfinished, so these capabilities must be reviewed separately before a rollout depends on them.

NextHealth Technologies is the software division of Alpha Health Group, a healthcare operator based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Experience running facilities and consulting on accreditation informs the product’s attention to clinical records, staff responsibilities and reviewable evidence.

Plan the country scope

Bring a patient episode, the proposed payer requirements and a quality review topic. Agree Arabic language needs, hosting, migration and any required permissions before rollout. The current interface is English, and no Arabic interface, local deployment or accepted national claims connection is confirmed.

Bring three things to your Egypt demo

A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.

Book a demo
  1. A patient encounter

One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.

  2. A payer or payment workflow

The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.

  3. An evidence question

One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.

Common questions

No. UHIA contracting and GAHAR registration or accreditation involve facility-specific conditions and assessment. Care and Flow provide records for review; purchasing the software does not establish contracting eligibility.

No verified complete GAHAR mapping is available. Flow holds selected policies, credentials, investigations and actions that the facility can assess against its requirements without implying accreditation or a dedicated GAHAR engine.

A live UHIA claims connection is not confirmed. Review the required clinical, coding and financial output, receiving specification and test evidence before including national claims submission in the implementation scope.

No permission or licence is obtained merely by buying the product. Your organisation must assess the applicable PDPC requirements and processing arrangements, with technical and contractual evidence reviewed before implementation.

Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.

Run it against Egypt rules

Bring one patient journey, one payer workflow and one evidence question. We will review the scope your facility needs in Egypt.
