Packages and memberships

NextHealth Engage

Part of the Billing and point of sale add-on

Packages and memberships turns one-off visits into ongoing revenue in NextHealth Engage. A package bundles sessions of one or more services at a fixed price with an expiry date, deducted as visits are completed. A membership gives monthly allowances, renews on its date, follows up a failed renewal and can be paused. Gift cards and wallet credit are sold and redeemed at checkout, and Engage reminds the team when sessions go unused or a package nears expiry.

What it covers

  • Packages with session counts, expiry and low balance alerts
  • Multi-service packages with sessions per service
  • Memberships with allowances, renewals, pause and resume
  • Gift cards and wallet credit redeemed at checkout
  • Reminders for unused sessions and packages near expiry
Why it is hard to do well

A prepaid session is a promise the clinic must keep

Prepaid care, tracked to the session

Packages, memberships and gift cards bring revenue in early, and every one of them is a promise. NextHealth Engage records each one against the client, so the front desk knows exactly what a patient holds.

Packages

A package bundles sessions of one or more services, each with its own count, at a fixed price with an expiry date. Sessions are deducted when a visit is completed, and Engage marks packages as depleted or expired by itself. Follow-up rules remind the team when sessions go unused or a package is close to expiry.

Memberships

A membership plan gives monthly allowances of services or value. Memberships renew on their date; a renewal that cannot be collected moves to past due and lapses after the grace period. Members can be paused and resumed.

Gift cards and wallet

Gift cards are sold at checkout, printed or emailed with a PIN, and redeemed later. Wallet credit is held per client and spent at checkout.

Billing reports show what the clinic still owes in sessions, gift cards and wallet credit.
