Registration
NextHealth CareIncluded in every Care product
Registration sets the quality of every record that follows. NextHealth Care guides front-desk staff through one clear form that asks only for what applies to each patient. Identity numbers are format checked before saving, a quick search finds returning patients before a new record is created, and structured pick lists keep nationality and address details consistent. The result is complete, reliable patient data from the first visit, ready for clinical care, regulatory reporting and insurance claims.
What it covers
- National ID, passport and residency document capture
- Search before registering, so returning patients are found rather than duplicated
- Next of kin, guardian and dependent relationships
- Insurance policy, member ID and eligibility status on the profile
- Alerts carried on the patient record: allergies, infection status, VIP, safeguarding
Accurate patient records start at the very first registration
One patient record across every location
A patient registered at one branch can walk into another and be found immediately by name, phone number or ID. Staff can continue with the visit without creating another record, while one medical record number keeps the patient's information connected across the group.
Patients without a local national ID can still be registered using a passport or other accepted identity document, along with the required residency information. The registration workflow adapts to the patient, showing only the fields that apply and keeping unnecessary steps out of the way.
Required fields are clearly identified, dates are easy to enter, and names can be recorded in Arabic and English. Preferred language is captured once and can be reused across relevant workflows. Identity information is encrypted and masked where appropriate, helping protect sensitive data while giving front-desk teams accurate information they can rely on.
How patient registration works in NextHealth Care
Patient registration software creates the master record for every person a healthcare facility treats. In NextHealth Care, registration is the entry point to the hospital information system (HIS): it builds the master patient index that appointments, clinical care, billing and insurance all rely on.
- Search first. Front-desk staff search by name, medical record number, phone or ID to check whether the patient is already registered anywhere in the group.
- Capture the details. A guided form records demographics, names in Arabic and English, identity documents, residency and contact details, showing only the fields that apply.
- Validate before saving. Required fields, identity number formats and pick-list values are checked, so mistakes are corrected at the desk rather than discovered later.
- Assign one medical record number. On save, the system issues a unique MRN that is recognised at every facility in the group.
- Use it everywhere. The profile is ready for appointments, check-in, consents, clinical documentation and insurance claims, with nothing typed twice.

Questions we get asked
-
Registration is included in every Care product: Care Clinics, Care Clinics Pro and Care Hospitals.
-
Registration is one guided screen with plain labels, required fields clearly marked and pick lists instead of free text wherever possible. It only asks for what applies to the patient in front of them, so there is very little to learn and few ways to get it wrong.
-
Staff search by name, medical record number, phone or ID before creating a record, so a returning patient is found rather than registered twice. One medical record number is then used for that patient at every facility in the group.
-
The form is built around the details healthcare regulators and payers across the GCC typically ask for, including nationality, residency, identity documents, contact details and insurance, so reporting and claims start from complete information rather than gaps found later.
-
Yes. A passport or other identity document can be recorded instead, along with residency or visa details, so visitors and new residents are registered properly without workarounds.
-
Identity details are stored encrypted, access is controlled by role, and on screen identity numbers are masked to the last few digits staff need to confirm who is in front of them.
